Who We Are

The eGovernment Payments Council (eGPC) is an association of professionals involved in the design, development and operation of payment systems that deliver government benefits or payments to consumers. These systems delivery payments for programs like SNAP (formerly food stamps), child-support enforcement, unemployment compensation, temporary cash assistance, and the Women, Infants and Childrens program, known as WIC.

The Vision
The eGPC vision is to unite professionals to focus on the business, policy and operating issues related to the electronic delivery of government benefits and payments.

The Mission
eGPC Inspires and promotes expertise, collaboration, cooperation and inclusion in the industry through activities like meetings, teleconferences, white papers, task forces and an annual conference. The eGPC enriches policy and business practices favorable to the adoption of government-driven electronic payment systems.

How We Do It
The eGPC fulfills its mission by fostering the professional and personal growth of its members. It delivers timely, actionable information through its multiple channels. These include its annual conference, EBT-The Next Generation, business meetings, webinars, task forces, newsletters and alerts, and a variety of social media.

Our Principles
The eGPC is a dynamic volunteer organization that is inclusive, accountable, fiscally responsible and sustainable and transparent.
